I think you misunderstood her. She is not afraid of being expelled from the congregation. Gettng into a car does not merit disfellowship. She knows having a relationship with an unbeliever is stupid. You could never support her in her spiritual goals. She understands that worshiping Jehovah with a husband who worships Jehovah makes life a bit easier to live.
